Marvelous Monday - 10/19/09
We spent the weekend at Road Atlanta with the Banker family.
The weather wasn't the greatest, but we still had a good time. Some of the qualifying runs on Saturday had only one car participating, which provided much fodder for jokes. Someone in the tower called the National Weather Service to ask how long the rain was expected to last, and the weather people said it wasn't raining. We, of course, proceeded to gripe about it "not raining" and how the ground was saturated with "not rain" and the "not rain" was negatively impacting our activities, etc.
It was also a bit on the cool side but Bankers brought heaters for both tents so we slept in warmth.
And we ate pretty well the whole time.
All in all, a very satisfying weekend.
